iRadiation contains the latest data from sources such as the US Geological Survey and the National Council on Radiological Protection and Measurements (NCRP 160). Your GPS location will be used to compute a customized dose from terrestrial sources, radon, and cosmic radiation. iRadiation allows you to estimate your medical radiation dose by selecting specific radiological and nuclear medicine exams.
Once computed, your annual radiation dose will be compared to the average annual dose to an American. iRadiation attempts to provide some context for the size of your radiation dose and the risk associated with that dose.
